Community School

The community school model provides parents with the opportunity to be intimately involved in their children’s education by teaching them at home two days per week and by assisting regularly in the classroom and with other school-related activities.

This intimate involvement in the school’s daily activities lends itself to a great sense of community among the parents, each of whom share a common vision and common goals for the spiritual, moral and academic education of their children.

On Tuesday & Thursday, students in kindergarten through eighth grade are taught on campus by their classroom teachers from 9am - 3pm.
On Monday & Wednesday, students are homeschooled with teacher-directed lesson plans. Parents receive the homeschool lesson plans one day to one week prior to each homeschool day.

Friday is Enrichment Day, students begin with a school-wide chapel program, which includes a time of praise and worship and an inspirational speaker who instructs and encourages them in their faith. During the rest of the day, students receive instruction from specialty teachers in art, music, drama, Spanish, and athletics

NorthBay’s Pre-K program is designed to prepare students for kindergarten socially, behaviorally, and academically. Students in Pre-K are taught on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays only (9am – 3pm). Pre-K students are homeschooled with teacher-directed lesson plans one day per week.
